      <image:caption>Maggie McRae is an AmSAT certified Alexander Technique Teacher based in Monterey, Massachusetts. Maggie began taking Alexander Technique lessons in North Carolina in 2011 with Suzanne Faulkner. She began her teacher’s training course with Ruth Kilroy in 2015 and graduated from ATTC in 2017. Maggie teaches private lessons and workshops in the Berkshires. She has also offered lessons at Nordic Fiddles and Feet music camp.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Maggie began calling contra dancing in 2018 under the mentorship of Jon Greene. Maggie is on the Lenox Contra Dance committee. Maggie has called in Poughkeepsie, NY, Lenox, MA, and Cornwall, VT among other dances. She also has a growing repertoire of family dances and has taught community dance/contra dance at Berkshire Pulse in Housatonic, MA, Summer Strings in Poughkeepsie, NY, and at the Oldtone Roots Music Festival. Maggie began traditional dancing when she was 12 years old at Sierra Swing Dance Camp and Centrum’s Festival of American Fiddle Tunes. She was one of the organizers of the Brevard College Contra dance in 2010 and 2011. Maggie has a working knowledge of a variety of Scandinavian dances, a passion that began while she was living in Norway, which she has continued to nurture upon her return to the US.</image:caption>
